Inge and Juan are very nice and welcoming. We did a tour boat with Juan and he showed us some nice spots. Inge invited us over for a coffee and share good recommendations for dinner! In front of the house, there's a nest of Ara's, we were lucky enough to saw them!

We highly recommend a stay at Inge & Juan's place. They are perfect hosts and do everything to make your stay more then pleasant. We loved the coffee from Inge in the mornings and the boat-fishing day trip with Juan. It was a memorable day, finding the bait, fishing with a hand line for small fish, visit the spider monkey island, fishing the ocean and catching big fish, snorkeling - diving for shellfish and lobster and eating them on the beach. Same evening we had the fish on the barbecue. Paquera is the perfect base to visit the well known and less known beaches. Will come again!

Inge and Juan were wonderful hosts, and their home was surrounded by lush jungle. We saw a scarlet macaw fly overhead, and heard howler monkeys in the distance. I would highly recommend staying at El Gecko if you are looking for a spot to stay in Paquera!
